Live Music Bonanza at The Manx Legion Hall

A charity gig at The Manx Legion Hall in Douglas, first up were The Very Very Bad Men, but I was late arriving so unfortunately missed their set.

The first band I caught were The Lost Soldiers who are an indie band, they played a mix of their own songs and some popular covers. They have built up a loyal following and had many of their fans up dancing.

They were followed by  Carbon Frog play great rock covers, such as AC/DC, U2, Led Zeppelin, Bowie, Radiohead, Oasis.

Last up were Caution Runners also a great covers band who play Arctic Monkeys, The Killers, Kings of Leon and even some oldies such as The Beatles and The Kinks

Photography Notes:
The stage was quite dark so I had to use flash. I used a wider aperture then I normally would, to try and blur the distracting back ground. And I used a slower shutter speed to get more of the ambient light so the images weren’t totally dominated by the flash leaving the background too dark.
